2021 DOGFARM Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley

Our Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from the Alsace Vineyard, planted in gravelly loam soils in a southeastern pocket of Rutherford AVA. Planted in 1997 to clone 1, these old vines produce wines with a balance of high-toned citrus and tropical fruit. 

• 100% Sauvignon Blanc
• Whole cluster pressed; cold barrel fermentation
• Aged in 25% new French oak on the lees for 16 months

Leading with floral notes of honeysuckle, the wine opens in the glass to aromas of Keffir lime, passionfruit, and fresh-cut yellow peach, with undertones of cooling mint and clove. Exquisite mouthwatering acidity highlights flavors of honeydew, lemon curd, and clementine, with a silky mouthfeel from lees-aging.
