For our 2020 Chardonnay we looked to western Sonoma County, specifically the Heintz Vineyard in Russian River Valley. Sitting just above the town of Occidental, this is a cool, maritime site influenced by the Pacific Ocean just to the west. Heintz Vineyard’s 1000-foot elevation and prized Goldridge soils make it an ideal place for growing exquisite Chardonnay.

Our 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a single vineyard just outside of the Rutherford AVA in Napa Valley. This particular site is on a hillside, with slopes that benefit from cool air sweeping up through the valley in the evenings and early mornings. Grapes here receive plenty of ripening sunshine but retain fine acidity due to this cooling influence.

Our 2019 Sauvignon Blanc comes from a unique site in the Oakville AVA of Napa Valley. Sauvignon Blanc is a rarity in this appellation, a region dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, and we were thrilled to source grapes from mature vines planted in 1990.
